Julie Bunton

Hello, fellow lovers of life!  I say that because you obviously are serious about living a healthy lifestyle or else you wouldn’t be here, right?  But maybe you’ve hit a plateau or you need a little encouragement?  That’s where I come in!  Let me introduce myself.  My name is Julie Bunton and my family moved to Estes in 2013 when my husband was asked to be the Chaplain at the YMCA.  (Insert fun fact:  we have 2 AMAZING children, Kayla and Brody).  Upon arriving to Estes, I began teaching Boot Camp classes at the Y and the other gyms in town.  This led to beginning my career in Personal Training.  Let’s back up a bit.  My background is in Education.  I was teaching Physical Education in Edmond, Oklahoma at a small private school when my classes extended to Middle School and High School.  I wanted a little bit more in the way of training these older students for a lifetime of fitness.  I decided to get certified with NASM as a Personal Trainer to get the information I needed and tools to help them further their individual fitness goals.  At this point, I had no intention of Personal Training as a career.  I was currently teaching fitness classes, but was happy with my day job as a School Teacher.  Now, let’s return to the move to Estes.  I was approached by some members in my classes to train them and so I decided to give it a try.  I quickly fell in love with the relationships and unique experiences training provided. I pride myself on making each session specific, unique, engaging and, I hope, a little bit fun!   It should be fun, or at least interesting, so you'll keep doing it.  I believe your fitness plan should incorporate exercises you can do throughout your life.  I have an aggressive client load of varying abilities/goals.  My youngest client has been 14 and my most mature is 83 years young!  I love helping people reach obtainable goals and building relationships with them.  I'm a stickler for form!  Safety is key!   I love helping clients reach their full potential.  Maybe even surprising themselves on their abilities.  I love to encourage them and build up their confidence and self-esteem alongside bettering their strength, balance, fat loss, etc!  If this sounds like you and you’re willing to see what that next level could look like, let’s talk!  I’m looking forward to meeting you!

Fitness Philosophy: I believe in life long fitness.  Finding something that “sticks”.  Let’s find something you enjoy doing so you will find success and continue to do it.  I work with individuals based on their unique bodies and goals and reaching their full potential. (Maybe even surprising themselves on their abilities.

I believe in total body fitness - from the inside out.  I'm a stickler for form!  Safety is key!  I love the challenge to create a variety of workouts so each workout will be engaging, creative and different from the last.  I will encourage you and help you build up your confidence and self-esteem while bettering your strength, balance, fat loss, etc!
