BIO: Rachel began her journey as a yoga instructor with a 200HR yoga immersion followed by a 200HR teacher training in traditional hatha yoga in 2011. She recently achieved Therapeutic Specialist certification after completing the Yoga Medicine 500HR advanced teacher training certification, a process which requires presentation of case studies in addition to coursework. The program looks at anatomy, mental health, and current scientific studies through the lense of the traditional practice of yoga, while also integrating Traditional Chinese Medicine and Ayurvedic methodologies. 
 

CLASS DESCRIPTION: Whether you're looking to gain the confidence to join a public yoga class or find increased strength and flexibility through this mindful practice, individual sessions can help you meet your goals. Practice can include both traditional and modified poses in addition to myofascial manipulation and breathwork to improve the whole body system. Through a personalized practice, one can expect to see improvements in areas such as range of motion and balance, but might also find unexpected benefits such as improved digestion and mental alertness.
