The Outdoor Range is located at 970 Noel's Draw Lane in the Big Thompson Canyon, 3.3 miles from Mall Road. The Outdoor Range consists of a 100-yard rifle range with six shooting positions, and a long rifle range that employs steel targets at 200 and 300 yards. Public days at the Outdoor Range are every Saturday, 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., June through October. Bring your own firearms and ammunition. No shotgun shooting. Cost is $5 per person plus a small charge for targets if you don’t bring your own. Adults and children age 12 and up. No pets allowed.
