Lake Estes 9-Hole Golf Course

The Lake Estes 9-Hole and Disc Golf Course is closed until November 1.

Here's a heads-up on a construction project: Work on the Alarado project at Steamer Drive and Big Thompson Avenue (US34) is expected to begin on Friday, September 18. Working hours will be from 7am to 7pm, Monday through Friday, unless otherwise approved. The work will focus on demolishing and reconstructing the pedestrian island at the intersection, and drilling for the traffic signal pole caissons. During this work, traffic will be able to enter Steamer Drive from US34, however Steamer Drive will be closed to southbound traffic at the back (northern) entrance to the Safeway gas station. Traffic heading southbound on Steamer Drive will be detoured using Steamer Parkway and Wonderview Avenue. There is also work anticipated on the south side of US34 near the golf course entrance which will impact the asphalt trail for limited durations. All work except final striping and signal pole installation is anticipated to be complete in early November.
