The Estes Valley Recreation and Park District Workcamper Program is designed as a seasonal volunteer opportunity which will enable the EVRPD to staff and support the Estes Park Campground at Mary’s Lake and the Estes Park Campground at East Portal in Estes Park, Colorado. If you are a couple who has a strong work ethic, enthusiasm to interact with the public, and the ability to work in teams as well as independently, our Workcamper opportunities may be a great fit for you!
This program is geared to people who are able to live on-site in their own RV. In exchange for workamping, participants in the program will be given free onsite accommodations. The Estes Park Campgrounds are able to provide sites with full hook-ups, discounted propane, access to laundry facilities, trash removal, and wi-fi. The workcamping program allows for couples or singles to work between mid-May and mid-September. These positions in beautiful Estes Park are in high demand, so apply early.
Workcampers are selected depending on a variety of factors. We understand that a major draw for Workcampers is to learn new skills, see new places and meet new people. We look forward to assembling a staff comprised of individuals who bring with them a wide variety of skills and life experiences. Enthusiasm and a positive attitude are key. We do our best to assign positions that allow each Workcamper to utilize their strengths, interests, and previous work experiences so that we are able to offer the best possible services to our guests.
