The Estes Valley Community Center is happy to announce the re-opening of the lower level on Monday, March 15. During the last year we had the opportunity to re-focus on what really matters to those who participate in our Senior and Adult Activities, and are also excited to announce our new name: Elevated Connection; a way to connect, play and build community. We're here for you.
One of the outstanding features of the Estes Valley Community Center is our state of the art HEPA air filtration is our Trane Technologies, Inc., HVAC system. HEPA, or High-Efficiency Particulate Air, is a standard that must remove 99.97% of particles whose diameter is 0.3 micron from the air that passes through.
We have some exciting news to share! Due to our Level Up certification, we are now operating under “Level Yellow,” capacity restrictions on the State’s COVID dial. This means that we are able to expand opportunities for swimming and fitness classes and each space is now limited to 50% capacity (instead of 25%). We can also hold special events with up to 50 people in our community rooms. Reservations are still required for the pools and fitness classes. The cardio, strength training and gymnasium (open gym) spaces are available on a first come, first served basis.
We are happy to announce that Pete Maxwell has been selected as the EVRPD 2020 Coach of the Year! Coach Pete leaves no kid behind on his teams and exemplifies all the attributes in the Positive Coaching Alliance philosophies. Congratulations Coach Pete!
