Between wildfires and a pandemic, our properties have frequent operating hours and program schedule changes. In order to provide you with the most timely and accurate information possible, we are changing the format of our “Things to Do” section in the local newspapers. On Friday, there will be a new page on our website with all the info you will need for the coming week. Stay tuned!

Triathlon-Style Fitness Challenge

Complete this designated triathlon workout and receive 3 guest passes and be entered  in a drawing to win a $50 credit to use towards any future purchase at EVCC; including personal training, youth or adult rec programs, fee based fitness class or membership. Cancellations Today

PROGRAM CANCELLATIONS: Due to extreme winds and fire evacuation orders impacting coaches, staff and families, we are cancelling all youth soccer practices today (Wednesday, October 14). We are also cancelling after-school Yoga for Kids. Youth Volleyball is still on for tonight. Adult Softball is pending. We will make a decision on softball by 2p.m.

Bike to the Beach 2020 Virtual COVID Edition

Beryl Bailey rode the “Bike to the Beach” (actual, not virtual) the past 2 years, raising money for a private school where she taught students with neurological differences such as autism. This year, Bailey is riding for Bloom Fitness, a community focused around fitness and wellness that provides athletes with a feeling of belonging. The program offers people with intellectual and developmental disABILITIES an inviting and safe environment to exercise, learn about healthy lifestyle choices, and have social interaction. Ms.

Morning Flow Yoga with Chazz Glaze

We have a great testimonial from Mike Richardson about Chazz's 7:30 a.m. Thursday yoga class at the Rec, "Yoga is a great way to start the day, it wakes my mind and body up, big time! Chazz’s class is challenging in a good way. Her class is what you make of it, you do what you are capable of doing and she allows you to do that. What most guys don’t realize about yoga - it is extremely challenging but yet accessible - you do it at your own level. Chazz is an amazing instructor.

Golf Marathon

On Tuesday, October 13, 5 local golfers will participate in this unique fundraising event! Austin Logan, Rene Archambault, Tim Hull, Brad Doggett and Megan Miller will play approximately 450 holes of golf from dawn to dusk. Make a pledge today; 100% of the donations benefit the Junior Golf Program. You may download the pledge form on the 18-hole webpage.
