In our current era of social distancing, quarantine and isolation, don’t be afraid to pick up the phone or go online to find answers to your questions or help with your problems. There are organizations, support groups and volunteers ready to assist and support you! As always, check with your insurance provider for remote therapy coverage.
Based on current public health recommendations for social-distancing measures to help prevent the spread of COVID-19, the Estes Valley Recreation and Park District has elected to offer public participation by phone for the March 17th Regular Meeting of the Board of Directors.
Members of the Public that wish to participate may request a meeting call-in link by emailing heather@evrpd.com.
According to national statistics, 10,000 Baby Boomers (those born between 1946 and 1964) turn 65 every day. In a 2017 article written for The Motley Fool, Matthew Frankel described some interesting statistics about the Boomers. “Despite the common perception of the millennial "start-up" culture, baby boomers are twice as likely as millennials to start a new business. Furthermore, 45% of baby boomers consider themselves to be entrepreneurs”.
